Red spots and bumps in eyebrows and hair loss?
I have red spots and bumps (not alot) in my eyebrows i am experiencing alot of hair loss particularly in my right brow. its been occuring for about eight months . i am 16. i do not pluck them or anything of the sort. i used desonide on my brow for 2 weeks as prescribed. it did nothing. i am going to have to drop out of school.
You don’t need to drop out of school because of bumps in your eyebrow or because of hair loss. Check here for a comprehensive review of the causes of hair loss and see if you think any might apply to you. And you also need to see your doctor again.

What can you do to prevent hair loss – what products work?
hi – My BF is 25 and he has been loosing his hair since he was about 20 – it started out as a little spot in the back and now that spot is pretty bald and the top of his head is getting pretty thin – I guess that is male pattern baldness….what is strange is that his whole family has a ton of hair – even his grandparents in their 80’s! It frankly doesn’t bother me – and I would love him even if he was totally bald – but he is very upset about it and wants to know what products would help — like Rogaine for men and things of that sort — he was actually thinking of getting a hair transplant done – but I want him to try other options first —
Your experience and advice would be great!
thanks!
Baldness is something that males suffer from more than women because they’ve got more testosterone.
Your bf could spend a fortune but he’s still bound to lose his hair eventually. The only sure-fire way to stop it happening is to have his hormones tampered with until they’re in the female range and I’m sure that neither you nor he would want that.
Tell him that it’s the most masculine people who go bald and tell him you like the fact that he’s a masculine guy and his baldness shows it to the wider world.
My mates hamster has hair loss around the the throuut, what is it?
Hi,
My mates hamster has hair loss around the throat, she is eating less and she had like a big black spot around her vaginal area…. What is this and what can my mate do about it?
P.s the hamster is a syrian and has lived just about over a year
as anyone would tell you, ask a vet. or even CALL the vet, if you don’t have the money. call any vet at all, and ask them about it. most likely they’ll give you sommme information. but if you do have the money, please take it to the vet. it could be cancer, skin problems, not getting enough proteen. alot of different things. one thing you could do, if call a vet, and ask what VITIMINS you can give a rat. no, human vitimans will NOT work. rats need a special kind, that sell in most stores. ask any vet what kind are safe for rats, make surrre you get the information from a vet, listen very carefully what EXACT vitimins to buy it. it’s a pain to give it to them, but if it saves it’s life it’s worth it. also listen to the dose to give it. if you get the wrong kind, or give it too much, it could hurt it. but it’s really not that difficult. just listen, and get the right stuff, and give him the right dose. I hope this helps. and good luck for the little thing.
I have a small bald spot from wearing my army helmet. will that hair grow back?
Hair loss is smaller then a penny on the top towards the front very visible though
The spot is smaller than a dime. I went to the field for 30 days and on day 29 I had the spot. We had no showers out there and we were constantly sweating.
Are you deployed?
If so too bad.
If not go to the dispensary and get a profile.

My Rabbit Is 5 He Has Hair Loss And Red Spots He Has Had This For 1 Month Now Whats Is It? Can I Help Him?
He Stays In A Cage In A Plastic Shed, I Have Looked To See If He Has Fleas But I Cant See Anything I Also Bath Him Regular With Flea Shampoo Also His Skin Looks Dry and Flakey But Then Again The Weather Is Hot And He Has Been In The Garden With The Sun On Him.
Sounds like the poor thing has mites I have a guinea pig and they say they have the same symptoms. Mites are not visible to the naked eye. They have red spots, hair loss, scruffiness, ect. Those are all the first symptoms of mites I guess in both guinea pigs and rabbits, and watever else out there with fur and that can get mites.
I don’t know much about about fleas because guinea pigs usually don’t get them. But i just read up on a website that you can tell if your rabbit has fleas if he is constantly scratching himself and u can see little black specks in the fur which is flea poop.
Ticks are not common, but can infest your rabbit…
Examine him and see if you can see any visible ones.
Hope you find out the problem!!!

If that’s you, and you know if it is, PLEASE TELL YOUR PARENTS OR AN ADULT NOW. If I see one more girl DIE of an ED I don’t know what I’ll do.
Have you lost your period too? Are you wearing baggy clothes? You need help NOW. These hospitals work miracles. Please, I know what I’m talking about. I deal with it every day. Get the help you need or you WILL die. Sincerely, Lynn
My boxer has strange fur problems, she has dark spots and lines on her back and hair loss. What does this mean?
What is this?
Means that you need to bring her to the vet and have her checked out. If she’s an older dog it could be just age. If she’s young it could be medical. However, if she’s really young it could just be her markings changing. A dogs markings will change several times throughout puppy hood. The hair loss could be due to the warmer weather however I’m not very familiar with the shedding of a boxer.
How do you know if you have permanent hair loss due to medication?
I took Yaz several years ago, and noticed I lost a LOT of my hair. Its curly and has always shed bad, but this was a lot all the time. I don’t have bald spots or anything, and still have medium thick hair, but about 2/3 of what it was.
Yaz now has a lawsuit against it, and one of the symptoms/problems is permanent hair loss. How do I know if that’s what caused it and how would I prove it?
If you’re starting to get worried because you think you’re losing your hair or just wondering if the amount you’re losing is natural or notice your hair is thinning, this is how to tell if you are losing your hair. It takes just a few seconds.
Hair loss is a big concern for many men, women and children. There are many causes. You may know that you have rapid hair loss already or even a little loss and wonder what is causing it. Maybe you already have a patch of hair loss. You may not be sure so here’s a good way to tell if it’s abnormal or not.
Take a small handful of hair in you hand and tug it as hard as you can. If you have more than six strands of hair in your hand then you are losing hair. A natural loss would be less than six strands of hair a day.
Did you just try it? The "how to tell if you are losing your hair" test is the best home test I know to test for hair loss.
What do you do about it?
First of all try to determine if it’s related to any current medical diagnosis you have right now. Then take a look at any medications you may be taking in case it’s temporary and related to medications, medicines or drugs.
If you’re a man then male pattern baldness could be a possibility especially if you notice a receding hair line. Symptoms could be related to pregnancy if you’re pregnant. It could be a thyroid issue. If you are losing in big chunks it could be alopecia areata. There are many causes for hair loss.
In any case you’ll want to learn how to stop or prevent it. There are many ways to learn through blogs, forums and discussion groups. However one must be careful there because there is a lot of misinformation and guessing going on.
It’s always better to get medical advice from experts in the field. You may want to consult with your doctor if you’re noticing a rapid hair loss. In some cases you may want to see if your diet or your thyroid is causing it. Boosting your immune system with a plant food diet may help. Be careful of hair loss products and treatments. Some are expensive and most don’t work. Watch out for medicines and even FDA approved hair loss medications. These expensive drugs have to be taken daily for a lifetime. They are not quick fixes and come with many side effects and risks.
In any case once you have done your "how to tell if you are losing your hair" test and you know that you are losing hair you’ll want to learn how to prevent or how to stop hair loss before you lose any more of your hair.
5 month old beagle/doxie mix puppy missing small patch of hair between top of leg and torso?
It is not red and doesn’t appear to be itchy. It is about the size of a dime and it doesn’t seem to be expanding. (he’s had it for a little more than a week. He doesn’t have any other spots with hair loss, and has been acting normal.I have him on revolution so he should be protected from mites. Anyone have and idea on what this could be?
Could be a hot spot. Have your vet check it out. Or maybe being that he is still young he could of been goofing around and got his hair caught onto something and pulled it out.
