i have oily hair with split ends with hair loss.which oil?

i dont cut my hair due to personal reasons.i have much hair loss.i straighten it regulary it is long not too long though.which oil to use to get it healthy and beautiful.

year ago I suffered very much from dandruff and hair loss too and I started trying everything you can imagine to stop my hair loss.
the things that really worked for me was:

1) Vitamin A – an anti-oxidant which promotes healthy production of sebum in the scalp;

2) Vitamin E stimulates circulation. Good blood circulation in the scalp is important in keeping hair follicles productive. The ‘B’ vitamins contribute to melanin, which gives hair its healthy color and also stimulates blood circulation;

3) massage is also beneficial. Massage stimulates circulation. As already noted, good circulation in the scalp keeps hair follicles active. Experts suggest a few minutes of daily head massage by hand. Circulation through massage may be improved by using a few drops of lavender or bay essential oil in an almond or sesame oil base with massage;

4) Try rubbing your scalp with garlic juice, Onion Juice or Ginger Juice(you can either of one out of three, Do not mix any of two or three);

5) also he used herbal treatment – TrichoZed and Provilluss (do not use Rogaine – it will not work!)
Those are a good products that helps prevent hair loss and contains Biotin and the clinically tested ingredients approved by the FDA to help re-grow your hair.! I think it is very important!

It worked and still works for me!

I do not know if any pharmacies carry TrichoZed but I do know that you should purchase it directly from the manufacturer and read more about the product here

Hair loss/baldness prevention or cure?

My dad is bald and everyone in my moms family has hair. I want to know if there is a way to prevent/slow down hair loss. It probably is impossible to stop it and if it is then I will have to deal with it. I am 16 and I am losing hair on my sides. I use dandruff shampoo, which I heard worsens it. If it is impossible then are the hair restoration surgeries real? How does it work? How much does it cost? Will it be like the hair you had before? Is there a risk? Please do not post answers from a product you heard on a website. If you are going to post a product, put one that you have tried or one that you can prove with actual facts. Thanks

Elastic or Rubbery hair?

I was in the shower a few days ago, combing out my regular hair loss (Cursed with hair with lots of body & volume) and a habit of mine is to pull on the hair. After doing so I found my hair was a bit elastic. It would resist my pull and then contract back into shape. After my shower I let my hair air dry as always and after it was completely dry I took another piece of hair and pulled on it, with the same result. I was a bit confused because no one in my family has hair like this, I’m not adopted and I’m only 16. If any of you have ideas or suggestions… Please let me know.

P.S. I doubt it is because my hair is strong… I have plenty of splits and it tends to be very frizzy. But I also don’t think it is because my hair is weak I wouldn’t think it’s because of lack of nutrition or over nutrition
It concerns me a little knowing I have problems with dizziness and with a lot of blood test the doctors havent figured out why
Im white 16 with dyed hair that I’d dyed oct 6 07 blck-brwn.

It sounds like you have perfectly normal hair.

Where do you go to complain about the handling of a police investigation?

Girlfriend came out of takeaway after works do and was called a "f****** lesbian" by some girls.GF and her friend ignored it,walked away but were followed by the 2 girls & several of their male & female friends.
She was pinned against a wall,punched & attacked by the 2 girls who threw her into railings,dragged her by her hair, kicked her on the floor & punched her repeatedly.When my gfriend eventually stood up,1girl came at her again so my girlfriend lashed out a very weak punch.
police came,arrested the 2girls(who kicked the police officers) & my girlfriend went to hospital where she had her head glued.She had 3 large scratches on her forehead,numerous bruises,painful jaw,hairloss,grabmarks & scratches(which have scarred).went to the police station 3 days later & SHE was arrested for affray and it is now going to crown court. in the magistrates court they showed the CCTV mid brawl but not the attack. my gf sat next to her attackers and had to give out our address.no space left..!
We have a solicitor and it went to magistrates. the new solicitor said the solicitor during her arrest wrongly advised she plead guilty. she pleaded not guilty and asked for it to be heard at crown court. she was co accused and made to sit next to her attackers who got a curfew order as they pleaded guilty. she is going to defend herself over the 1 punch, but nobody has mentioned SHE was followed and attacked or that she had injuries and went to hospital and they didn’t. they did not take a statement from my gf’s friend who was with her or the men in the takeway, just a passerby who "helped" who was actually with the attackers. out address was given out in courtroom for the girls and their chav mates who were watching. both girls had previous (my gf has none) and when you type in their names on google, chavscum.com comes up and there they are posting threatening messages about fights and stabbing. we feel that the police, the solictors and the CPS and the magistrates have let us down.
Sorry, there’s so much more to this, and so little room.

We didn’t qualify for legal aid, so this is costing £200 per hour. They turned up 5 minutes late to court in their tracksuits with their music blaring out and asked for the duty solicitor. So, for being attacked, my gf’s teaching job is on hold, she has scars and now a legal bill running into the thousands now. and the hellish wait until August to be heard, and the fear of more attacks with our address being known. plus the psychological damage of being brutally attacked (and I saw the CCTV and it brutal and heartbreaking) and being offered no victim support, being spoken to like scum and being locked up in a cell when going down to the police station to give them some details. She asked them to make her one call to me (the anxious wreck waiting at home)to let me know she’d been arrested. (after 4 hours I was worried about her). They didn’t bother. When arresting her, an officer said "and this is for your disguting behaviour".
I live in the UK. Should have said..sorry!
I would just like to add, and thank you for all your responses. The police DID have the CCTV of my girlfriend being pointed at followed and then attacked by several people as she tried desperately to get away. They didn’t show Helen that at the police station when they arrested her, just the attack. I thought there was such a thing as self defense but obviously not.
The police also didn’t take any witnesses of Helens at the scene and during interview said they would, but didn’t. When at the scene they radioed to CCTV control who said don’t arrest that girl (my girlfriend) it’s the other ones. I cannot believe that if my GF is a big enough "threat" to be charged with affray that they didn’t phone, come to the house/hospital or do anything until she went there off her own back. In court the prosecutor stated that my girlfriend "was kicked in the head but it WAS with a flip flop" and then they watched the CCTV mid brawl and guess where it starts.. my gs’s punch.NO showing off the lead up

Sounds like a right hash has been made based on what you have described. I would suggest contacting your local Police to ask to speak to the duty Sergeant to make a complaint.

I would also make contact with your solicitor and the local CPS to advise them that you don’t think the investigation has been handled correctly.

If you have no joy there then you can go to the independent police complaints commission who will investigate for you.

Good luck

i am a 16 yr old south indian girl with a major hair loss—there isn’t really a bald spot. what should i do?

i am a 16 yr old south indian girl with hair loss. i air dry my hair, i use head and shoulders for my light dandruff problem(the doctor told me to stop using oil too much on my hair), and i put it up in a ponytail. i don’t want to use any chemical gunk on my hair, so i am looking for natural remedies, but if any shampoos are out there that will help me, what are they called?

PLEASE HELP!

Here a few simple home remedies which can be tried at home to control hair fall.

1.Rinse your hair with a mix of apple cider vinegar and sage tea this helps hair grow..

2. A medicine rich in sulfur is also recommended as sulfur plays an important part in the structure of the hair.

3. Massage with olive oil before going to bed at night and next morning, wash off the hair gently..

4. To treat hair loss apply a little lemon juice with some black tea.Massage well and shampoo.

5. Beat two eggs,and add two tablespoons of water to it. Rinse hair and pour the egg mixture over the hair.Massage the scalp well and leave for 10 minutes.Then wash it.

Who is best for Hair Loss Treatment? Dr. Batra, Dr Bakson, Richfeel or AHR?

I am in Gurgaon and want to start treatment for Hair loss. Who is best, Dr Batra, Dr Bakson, Richfeel or AHR? Has anyone heard of AHR (Amazing Herbal Remedies). Its site is amazingherbalremedies.com They claim they can reverse the process of baldness to hairgrowing. but treatment cost 3000/- per month.
Can anyone suggest who is best out of above 4 or anyone else? How about Richfeel?
I read somewhere that Homeopathy doesnt have any solution for baldness or hairfall so very skeptical of Dr. Batra and Dr. Bakson. Also, i havnt heard good reviews of Dr. Batra. They also claim that they CANT give new growth of hair but can just control hair fall.
Please help me guiding quickly guys.

Not sure about the other people you have mentioned but I have a friend who went to Bosley. His hair was falling out and it only took him a few months to see results. His hair is back to normal now.

Go to this site they explain the reason for hair loss and how they help correct it. If you are really interested I would sign up to get the free dvd because they probably get more in depth about the answers you are looking for.

What are reasons for hair loss?

I have been shedding evenly for about 4 months now (I said evenly so don’t be annoying and state male pattern baldness). I have been to two docs and have had blood tests done. Its like the next scooby doo episode, its a damn mystery.

Please name all the possible reasons that I could be loosing my hair at such a young age (21)

Have you ever heard of an autoimmune disease called alopecia? It can affect the hair in various ways. Alopecia areata runs in my family and has affected relatives in different ways, and a few years ago I developed a small patch about quarter sized, but in my case it reversed and I haven’t had any signs since. I also know someone who has Alopecia Universalis but in the case of Universalis ALL body hair is affected…I mean as in no more eyebrows, lashes…nada. What you describe could be Alopecia areata incognita. It’s hard to say, but check you fingernails for a lot of pitting or ridging. Nail problems show up a lot of times with the disease. Even though I am no longer affected by it on my scalp, my nails do show pitting and ridging, so I know it could come back on my scalp at any time. Here’s a link that explains a few things about it…

Hair loss, diabetes, ketoacidosis help?

My little sister was diagnosed with Type I diabetes when she was 8 years old. She is now 25, and recently had a flu that led to Ketoacidosis. She was in Intensive Care for a couple days with her blood sugar being monitored. She has been sent home, but her blood sugar has not been 100% fantastic- it’s not scary, but not perfect. A lot of ups and downs as hard as she works to maintain it. Now, in the past couple days she has noticed her hair coming out.

She called me tonight, sobbing because her scalp burns and itches and a lot of hair comes out when she runs her hands through her hair. I suggested a cool shower for relief, but she is terrified of how much hair will come out as a result of showering.

Does anyone know what she can or should do to relieve this discomfort and slow the hair loss? Obviously, she needs to reduce her stress levels- but is there anything she can do to soothe herself? I am her much older ‘mommy’ sister, and it’s killing me that she’s across the country and I can’t take care of her right now!

Her hair loss does not sound like it is caused by ketoacidosis. If her scalp is burning and itching perhaps she is having an allergic reaction to something…has she taken any different medications recently, used a new shampoo?

Hair loss usually occurs after being seriously ill because the body is focused on sending nutrients to other areas of the body and the hair is just not a priority. However, it isn’t associated with itching and burning, it usually becomes thin and falls out over a period of time.

I would tell your sister to see a doctor as soon as possible.

Hope that helps :)

my cats losing hair on his neck?

Hi, my cat has been losing hair on his neck for the last 3 weeks now. I’ve tried a flea collar for two weeks but it didn’t do anything, and I’ve tried an antiseptic germicidal spray (for skin infections) for a week, and it hasn’t shown signs of improvement yet. A vet trip is $50 in my area plus extra cost for treatment, so I want to try safe alternatives before resorting to that (I have an appointment scheduled in two weeks, please don’t just tell me to go to the vet). Do you recommend me trying anything else? I saw an anti-itch cream at Petsmart but I’m not sure if it will cure the problem or just postpone it.

He is an indoor and the only cat, so I don’t know how he can get fleas in the first place. I feed him half a can of Friskies (mixed grill, salmon, turkey) and fill the rest of his appetite with Science Diet.

I noticed that if I pinch a bit of his hair and give a slight tug, the hair readily comes off. This might sound stupid, but is this normal or a is it nutrition problem? Might that have something to do with his hair loss? Are cats hair less rooted than human hair?

It is a medical thing, but your cat won’t die from it. You didn’t say how big the spot was, what it looked like, but it could be ringworm. Ringworm is a fungus and it causes patches of hair loss, and the hair will come out easily when you pull it. If it is ringworm, it can be expensive to treat.
